Griffin's mom came in and taught us more about symmetry.  The children loved making these stars.

Living museum

Each child has chosen a country to study.  We have got books from the library and are starting to research.  We are also starting to make our country projects.  Firstly I projected each country map and the children drew around the outline of the country.  Next they painted the country.

Flying all over the world Country

We have made our passports and then every time we travel to a new country we need to take our passport.  We have the air stewards check our passports when we get on the plane and allocate the seats.  We also have 2 pilots who share about our journey and what we need to do.  I play a video of the cockpit view of an airplane flying and landing in the country we are visiting.  It is such fun!  The children love taking turns at being the pilot and the air stewards.  They are really knowledgeable about flying and being on planes, they have so much experience!

A huge thank you to parents who are taking us on different journeys around the world.  Keith's mum took us to India.  We saw many photos and learned so much.
