Tai Tam Scavenger Hunt

What a glorious day!  Thank you parents for coming on the field trip.  We missed our other busy parents who could not join us but enjoyed your children.  I just loved the scavenger hunt, the team building, and excitement.  I also love the children being outside in nature.  Please find some photographs attached.

Building Buddies

HKIS has organised building buddies in which every lower primary child has a middle school buddy.  The goal of this initiative is to build personal connections among individual students as well as to build community across the divisions. Other benefits are sure to be enjoyed by all involved. Plus, it will be a whole lot of fun! 

This week the buddies met for the first time and collaborated together to make a poster and find out about each other. This will not be a “one off” experience, but a launch of something more. A group of LP and MS educators has collaborated to create opportunities for buddies to meet several times throughout the year. In order to ensure that every MS and LP student on the Tai Tam campus is able to participate, we have decided to connect each Lower Primary classroom teacher with two Middle School Pastoral Care Group (PCG) teachers.

So the children earned their first class party. It was such fun.  We wore pajamas, brought treats to share and had a lovely play time.  The treats that you shared were wonderful, we had popcorn, polka dot popsicles and pink p cup cakes!  Thank you.
